Vietnam has hired Portuguese coach Henrique Calisto to head its national soccer team for the second time, with hopes his prior experience will bring some trophies to the soccer-crazed country.
Calisto, 55, signed a two-year contract with the country's football governing body, Vietnam Football Federation vice president Le Hung Dung said Monday. He declined to reveal the terms of the deal, but state media reported Calisto would receive US$12,000 (euro7,596) a month plus a driver and housing.
